How to Get the Manaphy Egg in Pokemon Ranger

The Manaphy is one of the legendary Pokemon, and the only one that can breed. To get one, you have to own Pokemon Ranger to obtain the Manaphy egg. Once you have the egg, you can transfer it into your Diamond and Pearl game to complete your set of Pokemon there. Here's how to get the egg.

Instructions

1. Complete the story in Pokemon Ranger. Once you do, go to the Ranger Net and click on "Play a special mission."

2. Press the right trigger, the X and the left button on the directional pad simultaneously. "Enter the password" should appear.

3. Enter the password P8M2-9D6F-43H7 for the United States, Canada and Australia, C58f-t3WT-Vn79 for Spanish, Mg35-Cpb8-4FW8 for English in Europe, and R3d4-cv2S-WC7W for the German version.

4. Expect a special screen to pop up that says "Rescue the precious egg."

5. Accept the mission. There are some hard fights ahead. You will face three Gravelers at once. Later you'll face a Venusaur and two Scythers.

6. Complete the mission and you will receive the Manaphy egg.

Tips & Warnings

• Look for the Manaphy egg to remain on Ranger Net, where there will be an option called "Check egg." Until you transfer the egg to Diamond or Pearl, the egg will sit on the Ranger game. The game will keep a record of how many days you have taken care of the egg, as well as the egg's status.

• You will need two DS machines to transfer the egg.

• Don't turn off Pokemon Ranger while you're sending the egg. Diamond/Pearl may not receive the Egg, and Pokemon Ranger will lose the ability to transfer or see the egg.
