Step 1
Shop for your new organic towels. Many trendy home boutiques are now carrying organic linens, but you may be able to find them in large departments stores. You'll be able to buy plush and fluffy organic bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes.
-
Step 2
Expect to pay a little more for organic. You won't find an organic bath towel for $2.98, but there are reasonably priced ones out there. Consider it the price you pay to make a difference in the environment.
-
Step 3
Read the labels carefully to make sure you're getting 100 percent organic. The towels should be woven from organically grown cotton. If the towels are available in colors, the dyes used should be environmentally friendly.
-
Step 4
Wash your new organic towels according to the manufacturer's instructions. For most organics, use warm rather than hot water.
-
Step 5
Stock up, and forget shopping again. Most organic towels are long lasting and durable. When properly cared for, organic towels will be around a lot longer than conventional ones.
