Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start with your feet set a little wider than shoulder width apart. Crouch down into a half sitting position with your knees bent. The key to this step is sitting down in the crouch comfortably but low.

  2. Step 2

Take a small step to the right with your right foot. Bounce on the ball of your right foot once. Use the bend in your knees and the motion of the bounce in your hips to make a loose bounce. Step down with the right foot and get ready to bounce to the left.

  3. Step 3

Switch sides and step out with your left foot to the left. Bounce on the ball of your left foot once then step down. As you go from side to side, transfer the weight of your body to the standing leg.

  4. Step 4

Keep the move close to the ground. Let your body relax into the step. The flowing bounce travels through your whole body. Resist the urge to tighten up your arms, back or neck. Go with the flow of the beat.

  5. Step 5

Pair up the same arm and leg. Think of reaching out and pulling a rope. This is the motion that your arm does along with the bounce step. Reach out as you step up and pull your elbow back when your foot hits the floor. Alternate your arms every time you change your feet.
