1
Burn the CD with some favorite songs. You can burn the songs as MP3 data or in a music format like tradition music CDs.
-
2
Go to your local art and crafts store and purchase some poster paint as well as a set of glass stains. Make sure that the paint and the stain are the same color.
-
3
Get some cotton swabs and a fan. You will use the cotton swabs to apply the paint and the fan help dry the personalized CD quicker.
-
4
Place some paper towels down on the workspace area. This will keep the paint from getting on the desk. You may want to lay down a few towels to make sure the paint doesn't get on the desk.
-
5
Lay the CD down with the label side up on the towel, dip the cotton swabs in the paint and start to paint the non-playing side of the CD. You may need to apply more than one coat. Use the fan to dry the paint. You can also use felt-tipped markers to write on the CD once it is dry. Be absolutely sure not to get paint on the play side of the CD.
-
6
Let the paint and writing dry completely overnight.

What do you do with the stain? In #2 you state that we need both stain and paint, but I don't see a reference to the stain later. Can we use either the stain or the paint? -
