Starfox 64 was one of the first games released for the Nintendo 64 game console. Its detailed 3D environments and innovative gameplay helped Nintendo establish its budding reputation as the industry's leading video game company. Although beginning gamers can have a good time playing Starfox, you'll need serious skill to complete the game with a high score. Here are some tips that'll help you out.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Warm up your skill in training mode before taking on the actual game. This gives you a good introduction to your ship's mechanics and the different moves you can do.
Step2
Start up a single player game. Since Starfox 64 doesn't allow you to save your progress, make the most of your first flights and soak up as much of the surroundings as you can.
Step3
Use the barrel roll and other moves you practice in training during the game. These look good, but they'll also help you safely maneuver through enemy-packed levels.
Step4
Choose the right moment to use your bombs. Generally, it's best to set them off only when there are lots of enemies around, guaranteeing you get the most "bang for your buck."
Step5
Do your best to memorize the different courses. Know what makes each one unique and you'll have a better chance of making it to the higher levels.
Step6
Take time to gather all of the power-ups and special items you find. These will beef up your ship's defenses and attacking capabilities.
Step7
Shoot down enemies other than the boss during a boss fight. As long as you don't die, you'll collect more points and still move onto the next level.
