How to Dress Like MCR

MCR, or My Chemical Romance, is an alternative rock band from New Jersey. The band has several hits and has had real star power. They even collaborated with Liza Minnelli for the song "Mother War" on the "Black Parade" album. "The Black Parade" was released in 2006. As the title suggests, MCR dresses mostly in black.

Instructions

1. Put on tight black skinny jeans that are tight around your ankles, not flared at all. The pants can have a white stripe running from hip to ankle on the outside of the legs, but this isn't mandatory.

2. Find a black jacket that has white stripes similar to those seen on marching band uniforms. The white stripes should begin at the zipper and run out toward the arms. You can have more white trim than those stripes, but those must be present to dress like MCR.

3. Add a brightly striped shirt under the jacket and add fingerless black gloves.

4. Wear a thick belt with a large silver buckle. The buckle can be designed to resemble an animal and should be quite large.

5. Put on black combat boots or black Converse athletic shoes.

6. Apply plenty of black eye liner and black mascara to complete the appearance. You can also choose to wear black lipstick.

7. Change your appearance while staying true to MCR style by wearing a black dress shirt and a red tie.
