How To Eat An Ice Cream Cone Without Making A Mess

  1. Step 1

Start by licking the sides of the ice cream instead of eating it from the top. When you eat ice cream from the top, you give the ice cream that is closest to your hand a chance to melt, which will then start to drip down the cone and get all over your hand.

  2. Step 2

Lick the ice cream that is by the top of the cone itself and lick going in a sideways motion. You get more of an area of the ice cream that is going to melt into your mouth instead of worrying about it dripping.

  3. Step 3

Avoid putting your hand on the bottom of the cone or putting the cone anywhere near your clothes. If there is a tiny hole in the bottom of the cone, any ice cream in there that starts to melt will drip on your clothes.

  4. Step 4

Go ahead, take a bite off the top of the ice cream pile. Don't take too much or you'll get brain freeze!

  5. Step 5

Continue licking the sides of the ice cream until your ice cream scoop is gone.

  6. Step 6

You can now start munching on the cone along with the ice cream that is inside of it.

  7. Step 7

You've successfully reached your last bite of your ice cream cone without making a total mess of yourself.
