Another addition to the perfect dollhouse is hanging pictures you make yourself. Done well, these can add tremendously to the life of the dollhouse.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Magazine
  • Scrap of material
  • Paper
  • Pen, pencil or crayons
  • Cardboard
  • Construction paper of various colors
  1. Step 1

    Cut out small pictures from a magazine. These will serve as the inside of several of the pictures.

  2. Step 2

    Cut out various designs from some fabric or material. These will also serve as the inside of several of the pictures.

  3. Step 3

    Draw some small pictures with a pen, crayons, or a pencil, then cut them out. These will also serve as the inside of several of the pictures.

  4. Step 4

    Cut out several squares, rectangles, or circles from some cardboard, about an eighth of an inch wider on all sides than their corresponding pictures. Spread a touch of glue across the surface of the cardboard cut-outs.

  5. Step 5

    Mount the pictures from the magazine, the material, and the paper onto the appropriate cardboard pieces.

  6. Step 6

    Along the extra cardboard around the pictures, glue strips of construction paper (the picture frames).

  7. Step 7

    Hang the pictures up in the dollhouse in pairs or groups of three or more.
