Makeup isn't solely for the purpose of looking good or having fun. You can use it as well to rejuvenate your skin so that your beauty is enhanced on a level deeper than the way you paint your face.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tinted moisturizer
  • Foundation with sun protection or SPF
  • Vitamin-enriched makeup
  • Anti-aging makeup
  • Mineral makeup
  • Moisturizing lipsticks
  1. Step 1

Use a tinted moisturizer. Not only do you get the coverage of a lightweight foundation, you also get softer, smoother skin.

  2. Step 2

Select a foundation that offers sun protection. This way, not only do you even out your skin tone, you shield it from harmful rays as well.

  3. Step 3

Purchase formulas enriched with vitamins. For example, some mascaras contain vitamin E to supposedly plump up lashes. A variety of items have among their ingredients restorative extracts from fruits and herbs.

  4. Step 4

Avail of products that help restore youthfulness. These are no longer limited to creams worn before bedtime. There are brands of concealer, eyeshadow and foundation, for instance, which rejuvenate skin's elasticity for mature or damaged skin.

  5. Step 5

Try mineral instead of conventional makeup. Your skin can breathe more freely with the lighter texture, yet you still get a considerable amount of coverage and a possibly even more evident glow.

  6. Step 6

Apply moisturizing lipsticks or lip glosses to prevent lips from chapping.

Tips & Warnings
  • To fully reap these benefits, take care of your skin even when you aren't wearing makeup
  • If you are seeing a dermatologist or are undergoing treatment for a skin condition, consult your doctor prior to using makeup that may have ingredients not beneficial to you.
