        Launch your internet browser and go to the Arizona Corporation Commission’s website.

        Click on “Forms-Filings” and then select the “Corporations and LLCs” option. From the next menu select “Filings.” You will then be brought to the Corporate Filing Forms Section.

        Hover your mouse over the “Starting a Business” button and then click on “Corporate Filing FAQ.” Read all of the information included in the FAQ as it will help you better understand the process of starting an LLC in Arizona.

        Select the “Preliminary Name Search” option located in the “How do I file?” section of the FAQ. Read the information on the following page to determine the naming guidelines used by the Arizona Corporation Commission. Once you have read the naming guidelines, click on the “click here” link at top of the page to check the availability and reserve a name.

        Enter your desired business name in the “Name to be Checked” box and then select LLC in the “Entity Type” box. Click on “Check Name Availability.” If your desired business name is not available, you will need to think of a new name. If it is available, you are given the option to reserve the name but this is not required. Once you have chosen a business name and confirmed that it is available, continue on to the next step.

        Click on “Return to A.C.C. Corporations Division Main Page.” Hover your mouse over the “Starting a Business” button and then select “Download Forms and Instructions.”

        Scroll down to the Limited Liability Companies section and click on form number “LL0004”.

        Read the General Filing Instructions on pages 1-2 of the form. Once you have read the instructions, start filling out your business information on page 3. Follow the instructions on the left-hand side of the form to help guide you in your choices. Once you have completed this form, print it out.

        Press the “Back” button on your browser after you have printed the completed the Articles of Organization.

        Click on the Cover Sheet for Corporate Filings, form number “CFCVLR”, that is located under the New Filings section of the Corporate Filing Forms Section.

        Fill out the Cover Sheet for Corporate Filings. Select “New Entity” and then in section one type in the name of your new LLC. You will need to select the option “Articles of Organization (LLC)” in section two. In section four you can decide whether to pay an extra fee for expedited processing.

        Select your payment type in section five and then write a check or obtain a money order. The Arizona Corporation Commission will accept cash as payment but the United States Postal Service does not recommend sending cash via the mail.

        Complete the rest of the Cover Sheet and then print this out. Include the Cover Sheet, the Articles of Organization and your payment in an envelope.

        Mail all of the required information and payment to the address listed on the Cover Sheet.
