      Opening a pizza place will require a food license and a beverage license. The owner will also need a Federal Identification Number, state tax number, ATF license and an unemployment identification number. Workers' comprehensive insurances as well as insurance for the business is needed before opening.

      Purchase or lease a two or three rack pizza oven, freezer, walk-in cooler or something equivalent, dough maker, rolling machine and stove.

      Making the pizzas will require pizza cutters, serving spoons, containers for toppings, knives, slat, pepper and garlic shakers and other pots and pans. The business will also need a number of cutting boards with handles known as pizza boards to make the pizzas and place the pizzas in the oven.

      Purchase or lease a beverage-dispensing machine, a coffee machine, tables, chairs, and a cash register. If the pizza business will deliver pizzas, one or two vehicles are needed unless the workers will use their own vehicles.

      Buy supplies and all the ingredients for making pizzas. The list will include flour, yeast, pizza sauce, salt pepper, garlic, cheese and all the toppings for the pizzas. The supplies will be pizza boxes for carry out and delivery orders, menus, order books and hair nets and latex gloves.
