Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tools
  • Rear axle brake hose
  • Anti-lock wheel speed sensor
  1. Step 1

Remove the old brake hose. This requires minimum work but you will need to know where the brake hoses are housed on your vehicle.

  2. Step 2

Remove and keep the clip from the anti-lock wheel speed sensor wiring from the one brake hose bracket.

  3. Step 3

Installing the clip into the new one by turning as you push it through.

  4. Step 4

Seep brake hose into upper bracket. Pay attention to the shape of the brake hose because you will have to push it in the right way. There is only one way it will go through. Put the brake hose into the corresponding hole on the bracket by lining it up and twisting it until it fits.

  5. Step 5

Hold the brake hose steady with one hand while using the other one to install a clip. You can tap it with a small hammer to make it go all the way through.

  6. Step 6

Take the other end and flip it over the axle. Don't twist as you flip. Twisting will cause a restriction in the line.

  7. Step 7

Mount the axle portion of the brake hose. First, connect the anti-lock wheel speed sensor to the harden brake cable. Once they are in line, mount them into the axle by using a screw that goes through them and connects to the top of the axle. Be certain that the bolt is tighten.
