Sheet pans are mostly used in commercial kitchens, but the home cook often prefers these economical versions to the expensive non-stick baking sheets. Because sheet pans are not non-stick, baked on food can stick to the sheet pans crevices and cause problems for a home cook who wants to use these pans for their everyday recipes.

Things You'll Need:

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Parchment
  • Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil

    How to Keep Sheet Pans Clean

  1. Step 1

    Spray the sheet pan with non-stick spray all over the top baking portion of the pan.

  2. Step 2

    Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit inside the sheet pan to serve as a liner. Line the sheet pan with parchment paper.

  3. Step 3

    Cut a piece of foil two inches larger than the edges of the sheet pan. Wrap the sheet pan with the foil, make sure to pinch the foil around the edges of the pan to seal the edges. This will ensure no food or juices will leak onto your pan and create stains.
