Place several blankets on the grass in your yard to lie on. Save one of these blankets for the TV/DVD combo or portable DVD player. Place the TV or portable DVD player on the blanket. The blanket will protect your electronics from becoming wet from dew or moisture in the grass.

Locate an exterior electrical outlet and plug the extension cord in. Then, plug the TV/DVD combo in. If you have a portable DVD player, consider yourself lucky, as you won't have to worry about an extension cord!
