Step 1
Start with the outfit. Put on a short, plaid skirt. It should remind one of a schoolgirl's uniform gone horribly wrong. In her first music video, Britney Spears engraved herself in public recognition adorning such a skirt.

Step 2
Put on a button down white shirt. You can find these uniform shirts at any thrift store. Waiters discard them often, and you can jazz it up by changing it to full Britney style: Unbutton the bottom half of the shirt. Take two ends of the shirt, and tie the shirt above the belly button.

Put on long knee socks, and make sure to wear shoes that match your skirt. Britney may be in costume, but she is never out of style!

Think about your hair. No, you are not allowed to shave your head! If you do not have blond hair, sport a wig with highlights. Fix your hair in a cute style. You want to express your innocence and desire to lose it!

Complete the costume with headset. Dancing pop stars in the 90's wore headsets. Make sure you sport yours.
