1
Sand any rough edges on the lips or bottoms of the terra cotta pots. This will allow the adhesive to adhere the pots and saucers together more firmly.
-
2
Place the medium terra cotta saucer upside down on the ground. Apply construction adhesive around the lip of one of the terra cotta pots. Place the pot upside down onto the saucer. This will be the base of your birdbath.
-
3
Apply adhesive around the bottom of the upside down pot and place another pot right side up onto it. Make sure it is stable and will be able to adhere. This will become the "stem" of your birdbath.
-
4
Pour adhesive around the rim of the uppermost pot and place the final pot onto it upside down. Apply adhesive to the bottom of the final pot and place the large saucer on top of it facing right side up. Allow at least twenty four hours for the adhesive to dry.
-
5
Decorate your birdbath with acrylic paints or decals, if you wish. Fill with water and get ready for a birdie splash pool.
