How to Use Wicca Meditation Techniques

Using Wicca meditation techniques is not as hard as some people imagine. It's basically visualizing images while in a heightened state of blissful relaxation. The hardest part of using Wicca meditation techniques is getting into the meditative state. Once you are there, the rest is a piece of cake.

Things You'll Need:

  • Large pillow or comfortable chair
  • Relaxing music (optional)
  1. Step 1

    Begin by sitting down in a comfortable place where you will be uninterrupted for a while. Use a pillow large enough to sit on, or a comfortable chair. Play relaxing music if you like. Imagine you are lying on a beach where it is warm. Hear the gentle crash of the waves on the shore, while the gulls circle above the beach. Visualize healing white light beginning to wrap your body in waves of blissful warmth and peacefulness.

  2. Step 2

    Visualize the white light coming into your belly about two inches below your belly button, making it warm and very relaxed. Imagine that healing white light moving upward, warming the blood within that area of your body. When you feel ready, go ahead and release that healing white light to run through every part of your body.

  3. Step 3

    Imagine the healing white light taking over your entire body. Feel the peacefulness it brings, making everything healthy and balanced. You should now be into a state of heightened relaxation. Now it is time to work on promoting healing within your body. Healing from within is not a substitute for conventional medicine, but it is an aid that can help conventional medicine work well within your body.

  4. Step 4

    Envisage different colors, beginning with black. Notice how black does not feel peaceful. Wrap it in a white light, and let the white light consume it. Imagine your red or orange bathing suit is warmed by the white light, becoming warm to the touch. Imagine yellow sunlight high in the sky, spreading warmth throughout the environment, warming everything and energizing it.

  5. Step 5

    Focus on green plants on either side of you, and behind you smell the life that pulses within. The plants charge the environment with life-enriching oxygen from the ground to the blue sky. Visualize indigo, violet and purple birds, circling skyward in this oasis. Visualize puffy white clouds lazily floating in from the west, flowing to the east, creating a blissful state of being within your mind.

Tips & Warnings
  • Meditation gets easier the more often you do it, providing a peaceful state within your body and allowing you to relax.
  • Envisioning all the different colors in the order that they are given is essential, as they correspond to the seven chakras in the given order.
