The North Coast starts from about Ukiah, California inland and Fort Bragg, California on the coast, and extends to Josephine County, Oregon. This is an ancient coastal redwood ecosystem. See banana slugs, gray whales, Douglas fir, black bears, and sea anemones, all living within the Redwood forest.
