Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Place several heads of garlic on a cutting board and slice off the tops leaving just the tops of the cloves exposed.

  2. Step 2

Baste the tops of the garlic heads with olive oil, lightly. Sprinkle with salt.

  3. Step 3

Place the garlic heads on a sheet of tin foil as some of the garlic may overflow during baking.

  4. Step 4

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

  5. Step 5

Place the pan with the garlic in the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes or until soft and the tops are brown. Do not over bake. Check every 10 minutes to ensure that the garlic isn't too brown.

  6. Step 6

Serve with Brie or Camembert cheese, apple or pear slices and rustic bread or baguette.
