To use a wireless headset with your cellphone, you'll need a phone that has Bluetooth.     How to Make a Wireless Headset Work With Your Cellphone

  1. Step 1

    First you must power on the Bluetooth feature in your phone. It may be on already, or it may be off by default. Referring to your manual, follow the procedure for turning on your phone's Bluetooth feature.

  2. Step 2

    You now must ensure that your phone has been directed to look for Bluetooth devices. Consult your manual and be sure that this function is activated.

  3. Step 3

    Now that your phone is prepared, prepare the headset. Charge the headset if necessary, and consult the manual for information on set up procedures with your phone. Follow the instructions and you'll be set up and talking in no time.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some devices require a PIN code to allow them to work with your phone. If you're having trouble getting them to work, be sure you haven't omitted entering a PIN code if necessary.
  • There are so many different models of cell phone, and so many add-on devices, that one guide is not sufficient. Always read the manuals the first time you attempt to set up new features or add devices.
