When reading online, you have instant access to virtually any translation of the Bible you are trying to access.
2. Internet Bible versions allow you to look up passages that may be familiar to you. Often times you know parts of a scripture, but you may not know where to find it in the Bible. Or, you may want to find out about a certain person or event in the Bible. You can type in a keyword and the passages with that keyword will be displayed, allowing you to browse and find exactly what you are looking for.
3. Many Bible versions found on the Internet will have footnotes that explain word origins, or what certain words in a scripture mean, allowing you to have instant understanding of exactly what you've read. Some have commentary on the passages, and there are also other resources such as audio Bibles, concordances, study tools, and dictionaries that help you better understand the Bible.
4. You can have daily devotionals or scriptures of the day sent directly to your email, or automatically updated on your social networking websites, like MySpace or Facebook for instance.
