Step 2
Toyota Hybrid CamryLearn the makes and prices of available Toyota hybrids. The basic Prius is about $21,500 while the Touring is $23,770. They both get 48 mpg highway and 45 mpg city. Priced at $25,650, the Toyota hybrid Camry gets 33/34 mpg.

Step 3
Decide on the color, trim package and other options. There are several packages that you can add to your vehicle that include upgraded audio features, heated side mirrors, cruise control, better lights and navigation systems.
-
Step 4
Look for a used Toyota hybrid through auto classifieds, online and at independent car dealers if you don't want to wait for the waiting list to come to you. Realize that the value of used Toyota hybrids has increased just as quickly and dramatically as SUVs and large trucks have declined in value, so you may not get a great deal, but you'll likely get better gas mileage.
