Stomach Flu is cause by various viruses that affects the intestines. It is also known as Viral Gastroenteritis, because the virus is viral it cannot be cured with antibiotics. People can get the viruses through close contact with other infected individuals by sharing their food or drink.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Water
  • Fruits
  • Wipes,soap
  • Ginger
  • Peppermint
  • Apple
  • Garlic
  • Lemon
  • Baking soda
  1. Step 1
     

    *Natural remedies*

    *Bananas
    Eating a lot of Banana can help calm the stomach and stop the diarrhea.

    * Apples
    These helps to heal properties on the intestinal mucosa

    *Peppermints are one of the most readily available stomach flu remedies there are, and one of the tastiest and most appetizing

  2. Step 2
     

    *Cayenne Pepper*
    This pepper helps the stomach create hydrochloric acid, which helps the digestive system to work effectively, and rebuild the tissue in the stomach and the peristaltic action in the intestines.

    *Garlic
    This is an natural antibiotic that protects the natural bacterial flora in the intestine. It also eliminate the pathogens that cause stomach flu.

    * Lemon
    This also cleanse the pathogens that cause stomach flu. Drink a cup of lemon juice dilute with water.

  3. Step 3
     

    * Ginger/tea*
    Ginger eaten by itself or in the form of tea help to soothe the stomach. If there is diarrhea, it also helps to ease this symptoms.

    * Drink water
    Drinking a lot of water with a teaspoon of baking soda. This alleviate the acid heartburn.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always wash your hands to avoid catching stomach virus
  • Avoid all form of milk base products
  • Avoid food such as onion, bake beans, broccoli and fried foods.

on 12/27/2008 Great tips. A peppermint is really easy. Also good for stomach flu is powdered gatorade. The original lemon lime flavor. :-)

on 7/31/2008 Good remedies mentioned here. Remember that diarrhea is your body's method for removing the offending virus. Before you try a remedy to stop diarrhea, it might be wise to allow nature to take its course for a couple days, being careful to stay hydrated with an electrolyte drink.
