While building credibility for business endeavors it is also a good thing to strengthen the sound of the voice.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • discipline
  1. Step 1

Now this may sound ridiculous but, wake up smiling. Yes smiling increases the lift of the cheeks and this is a must for forming clear and breathless speaking and singing notes.

  2. Step 2

Hum throughout the early morning and whenever it won't be disturbing to others. This helps warm up the vocal chords, adds to being relaxed and helps alleviate dry mouth.

  3. Step 3

Pull in your diaphragm while walking brisk. Make it a routine during some point of every day for a few minutes. Maybe when rushing to get your lunch during your lunch break.

  4. Step 4

When you breath be conscious of the sides of your waist that they move in and out. This brings air into your lungs increasing the ability to speak clearer, longer and without a nasal sound.

  5. Step 5

And you may not like it, but if you have an important speaking engagement early afternoon, you do not want to eat after 8:00 pm the night before. Doing so, yes can aggravate and tighten the vocal chords.

Tips & Warnings
  • never drink ice cold beverage before public speaking or before or during a stage performance. This could have an effect on your voice like sipping on helium.
  • Do drink lukewarm fluids like a natural tea with cherry or lemon flavoring. Cherries and lemons are excellent for the bronchial tubes and decrease mucous.
