Hiding in the piney woods from the law has been a pitch. Sneaking from tree to tree and peering around them tends to place a lot of pitch on my hands, face, and clothing. I am too big too hide behind a pine tree anymore, so I thought I would pass this secret along.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

If pitch is on skin, put margarine on the pitch and wash with soap and water.

  2. Step 2

If pitch is on your clothing, put ½ cup of ammonia in the washer load.

  3. Step 3

Be aware of "pitch transferrance". Backtrack and visit everything you came in contact with since you touched the pitch. Chances are you will need to use the margaine and ammonia again.

Tips & Warnings
  • Margarine is edible, but try not to overdo it. Pitch can't be good to eat. If you can get past the smell of ammonia and are intent on tasting it, don't do it. See your doctor and psychiatrist instead.
