How to Become a Movie Star in The Sims 2

Want your Sim to make it big in Hollywood? It's a long, hard road (if you don't cheat), but it can be worth it if your Sim dreams of glitz and glamour. Here's how to make their dreams come true.

Things You'll Need

• The Sims 2
• The Sims 2: University Expansion Pack.

Instructions

1. Make a new Sim at university or use an existing one. Popularity Sims work best as movie stars since they are naturally inclined towards becoming a star and will get Aspiration points for making friends.

2. Send your Sim to University and have them major in either Drama or Art.

3. Have them get the Show Business career once they graduate. You can either wait for it to show up in the newspaper/online or you can cheat. See our article on Cheating in The Sims 2 for more details. If you're cheating, shift+click on the newspaper and look for the Job option, then select Show Business from the menu.

4. Start making friends. To reach the highest level, Icon, you'll need 14 friends. Being a Popularity Sim will help, since you'll get Aspiration points for making friends as well as a career boost.

5. Build your Charisma, Body, Creativity and Logic. To reach Icon, you'll need 10 each of Charisma and Body, 9 Creativity and 6 Logic. Getting them won't be easy (unless you cheat, in which case it's super-easy. Just drag their bars all the way to the right and there you go.)

6. Make sure your Sim goes to work happy! The foundation of any good career is a good home life. If your Sim is unhappy at home, they will be unhappy at work and won't get promoted as fast.
