How to Make Classic Bolognese Lasagna

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 lb. ricotta
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 lb. fresh mozzarella (shredded, not in water)
  • 1 cup FRESHLY grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 lbs. fresh pasta sheets (you can purchase no-boil lasagna noodles in packages)
  • 2 cups Bolognese sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Rectangular lasagna pan
  1. Step 1

    Mix ricotta with egg yolks and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Step 2

    Spread a layer of the mixture on the bottom of the lasagna pan.

  3. Step 3

    Layer the mixture with lasagna noodles, then layer again with ricotta mixture, top with Bolognese and sprinkle parmesan, mozzarella and salt and pepper on that layer.

  4. Step 4

    Repeat until ingredients are almost done. The top layer will be the cheese layer.

  5. Step 5

    Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
