MLM groups that are publicly traded are legitimate companies with good products, as a rule. Watch for companies that have low debt and unique products, with good BBB ratings.
There are some terrific products that are sold through MLM programs, but there are also illegitimate programs out there, as well. Be cautious about programs that promise you incredible amounts of money in a short time.
