Few dishes are a better fit for a cookout then kabobs, especially steak kabobs. This simple but delicious food is tailor made for the grill and is always a crowd pleaser. This step by step recipe is easy to follow, with hardly any clean up, and takes very little time to make.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • steak
  • skewers
  • 1 whole onion
  • 1 whole red bell pepper
  • 1 whole green bell pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • mushrooms
  1. Step 1

Soak skewers in a bowl of water. This will prevent them from catching fire on the grill.

  2. Step 2

Cut your steak into pieces about an inch wide.

  3. Step 3

Season the pieces of steak with garlic powder and ground black pepper. Then set aside.

  4. Step 4

Rinse mushrooms under cold water and cut of the stems.

  5. Step 5

Cut the bell peppers and onion into a size just slightly smaller than the steak.

  6. Step 6

Start grill and heat on medium.

  7. Step 7

Remove skewers and start adding the steak and vegetables. A general method is to put on one piece of steak, followed by a red and green bellpepper, one onion, and one mushroom.

  8. Step 8

Place the kabobs on the grill and let cook for approximately three minutes before turning.

  9. Step 9

When done, remove your steak kabobs and let sit for two minutes to let the juices settle. Enjoy!
