Do you like good old fashion, home made pancakes but you cannot seem to make them right? In this "how to" article it will show you step by step how to make the perfect pancake for yourself and others.

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 egg
  • Butter
  • Large bowl
  • Large frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Ladle

    How to Make Pancakes

  1. Step 1

    Mix in a large bowl 2 1/2 cups flour, 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 1/4 cups milk and 2 large eggs. Be sure to mix contents until completely smooth. If needed you can use a hand held mixer.

  2. Step 2

    Put frying pan on the stove on medium heat. Add a two tablespoons butter, and allow butter to melt completely.

  3. Step 3

    Using your soup or gravy ladle, fill ladle to it's capacity. Pour entire contents into buttered pan and wait until you see air bubbles covering almost the entire pancake.

  4. Step 4

    Grab your spatula and flip onto other side. Cook for less than a minute and set onto plate. Add another teaspoon of butter and repeat until all pancake batter is gone.

  5. Step 5

    Pour melted butter and hot maple syrup on stack and enjoy your delicious homemade pancakes!

Tips & Warnings
  • To make your pancakes even better, you can add chocolate chips to the batter and even fresh fruits.
  • Once pancakes are cooked, add fresh fruits to the top and some whip cream.
  • Cook a couple of sunny side eggs and place on top of pancakes for an even bigger breakfast.
