Tri tip is a great option for a barbecue. It can cook away while you socialize, and you can let it rest during the prep for the sandwiches.
Things You'll Need
- Tri tip
- Sandwich rolls (Ciabatta or Onion)
- Balsamic reduction
- Beefsteak tomato
Slice the rolls and place them on a serving tray.
Slice the tomatoes and place on a separate serving tray to avoid making the rolls messy.
Dry and separate the arugula. Place it on the tray with the tomatoes.
Slice the tri tip and place on a serving tray.
Assemble the sandwich by placing the tri tip on the roll, stacking a slice of tomato and some arugula on top and drizzling with balsamic reduction (see Resources).
Tips & Warnings
- You can swap the balsamic reduction out for hot and sweet mustard if you prefer.
