That old car or boat you plan to get rid of soon can help people suffering from chronic kidney disease. It can especially help those who need a kidney transplant. Through the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Kidney Car program, you can donate a car to a Kidney Foundation in your area that is part of the NKF national network. Your donation will help provide public education programs to prevent kidney disease. Furthermore, it will assist patients and their families. The National Kidney Foundation also supports research and programs to increase the number of organs available for transplant. NKF donations are almost always tax deductible. Overhead is kept to a minimum so 70 percent of the proceeds from the sale of your donated vehicle go directly to their programs. Just follow the steps below to donate your old vehicle to the Kidney Car program.
