How to Do an Aspirin Mask
-
1
Prepare the aspirin. Take approximately 10 to 12 aspirin and put them in a bowl. Add about 5 small drops of water. The aspirin should begin to break up into a powder. Slowly add the water one drop at a time. You don’t want to add too much because it will cause the aspirin to dissolve and you don’t want that to happen. If you do happen to add too much water, throw out the aspirin and start over.

2
Mix up your mask. Once you have prepared the aspirin, it’s time to make your mask. Pick a mask that suits your skin type. Many individuals use honey because it helps to moisturize the skin and also treat acne. Some other common favorites are the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask and the Queen Helene Moisturizing Mask. Mix the aspirin and your mask together so it forms a paste.

3
Apply the mask. Now you’re ready for the fun part. Apply the mask to your face. Be very gentle when you apply it because the aspirin will be grainy. You want to gently smooth the mask on to your skin.
-
4
Allow it to dry. Once you’ve got your mask on, it’s time to kick back and relax for a little while. If you want to rid yourself of puffy, tired eyes, cut up some cucumber circles and put them over your eyes. Allow your mask to dry completely. If you are using honey as your mask, set the timer for 20 minutes.
-
5
Exfoliate and rinse the mask off. Once the time is up, it’s time to rinse the mask off. Get your hands wet with warm water. Gently rub your face. The mask will feel like it’s exfoliating your face. Continue to rub the mask into your face for approximately 45 seconds. After you’ve exfoliated, rinse the mask off completely. Follow up with your favorite toner and moisturizer. Your face will have a lovely glow!
