If you need a little extra incentive to donate your used car to a worthy cause, then the Kars4Kids program in Orlando may be just what you are looking for. Through their Joy for Our Youth (JOY) program, Kars4Kids provides food, clothing, and shelter to at-risk children along with summer programs and counseling. Because the Orlando branch is part of a national organization, they can accept cars, boats, RVs, or trailers donated anywhere in the continental United States. 1. Go to the Kars4Kids website to donate your old vehicle and to learn more about how the Kars4Kids JOY program helps children at risk.
2. Click on the "Donate Now" button to donate your old car to Kars4Kids.
3. Fill out the donation form. You will need your title, Vehicle Identification Number (listed on the title), and registration. Include a description of the vehicle and its condition. Once the form is completed, Kars4Kids takes care of the paperwork and pickup at no cost to you.
4. Allow a few days for kars4Kids to call and arrange to pick up your donated vehicle. This usually takes about 72 hours.
