Learn how to make a healthy and nutritious meal with a minimal amount of effort.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • whole wheat spaghetti
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • garlic powder
  • salt and/or pepper
  • 1 stick of butter
  • fresh fruit
  • vanilla yogurt
  • frying pan
  • no stick spray
  • sharp cutting knife
  • small cup
  1. Step 1

This process begins after you have cooked your spaghetti. Take a knife and chop your pepper, onion, and tomato into small pieces.

  2. Step 2

Spray a little no stick spray into the frying pan and add 2-3 pads of butter to the pan. Place your chopped pieces into the pan.

  3. Step 3

Place the frying pan on the burner of the stove and set to a medium temperature. While cooking your vegetables, add in a small amount of different spices like salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  4. Step 4

When your food has become slightly brown, turn off the burner and place on top of the cooked spaghetti. You may want to add some butter and spices to the spaghetti.

  5. Step 5

For a healthy dessert, it is very easy to make a yogurt parfait. Take a small cup, place fresh fruit (of your choice) at the bottom, yogurt on top of that, more fresh fruit, and then a final layer of vanilla yogurt.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure that when you are cooking your peppers, onions, and tomatoes you constantly stir them so they do not stick to the pan.
  • Remember to always be cautious and not burn yourself when cooking on the stove.
