Winrar is a program that users of torrents commonly use to unpack a file called a rar. These files are similar to zip files in that they are packed into smaller files for ease of downloading and opening. Each rar file can contain hundreds of other files with many different file extensions such as: .exe, .zip, .dll, and .bin. Winrar will open all of these files once they are downloaded in a short period of time.
