Plasma television's have many picture options and can provide beautiful and lifelike programming. Here is how to adjust the picture on a Panasonic 720p Plasma HDTV.

Step1
Press the 'menu' button on the remote control. This will display the photo menu where the process of adjusting the picture begins.
Step2
Scroll down to the "picture" option using the arrow buttons on the remote control. Once "picture" is highlighted, press OK.
Step3
Press the up arrow button on the remote control. It will begin to go through the picture options and at the same time will show you what they will look like on the television. There will be many to choose from such as "vivid" or "theatre". Try them all to see which one is preferred.
Step4
Press OK after highlighting the selection of your choice. This will automatically set the picture on the television to that option and take you back to the previous menu. You television is now set to the picture of your choice. Exit the menu by choosing OK again and you are off to watch HDTV.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try watching movies with a different picture setting to get the feeling of being in a cinema.
  • Lighting in a room can affect the picture quality on Plasma televisions.
