How to Slingshot Mario in Super Mario Sunshine

1. Find a level that has a tightrope line for Mario to walk across. These are featured in most of the levels, especially the first one.

2. Jump onto the line so Mario is balanced on it.

3. Press "B" to make Mario hang from the line with his hands.

4. Point your spray nozzle forward and press "R" to spray. Mario will still be hanging from the line, but he will now be swinging. Press "R" again as many times as necessary for as long as necessary to get him swinging around the rope.

5. Press "A" midswing to release Mario from the line and send him flying.
