Cream Jalapeno Pepper Soup can be as hot or mild as your taste buds can handle depending on how many peppers you include and if you cook the seeds or not. This sup is great as an appetizer or served as a meal in a bread bowl. Get ready to eat up.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 6-8 jalapeno peppers, minced
  • 8 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup white onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 small avocado, peeled and diced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

    How to Make Jalapeno Pepper Soup

  1. Step 1

    Heat your butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Step 2

    Saute the minced garlic, onion, and jalapenos until they're soft.

  3. Step 3

    Remove the vegetables from the saucepan into a large bowl and stir in the tomatoes, avacotoes, and heavy cream.

  4. Step 4

    Pour the mixture back into the saucepan and reduce the heat to simmer.

  5. Step 5

    Let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes while you frequently, but slowly, stir.

  6. Step 6

    Add the basil to the mixture and let it simmer for an additional five minutes.

  7. Step 7

    Remove the saucepan from the heat and serve in a regular bread bowl. You can add a salad as a side if you're using the soup as an entree.
