  1. Step 1

Setting up potpourri in your house is not as difficult as you may think it is, in fact it is so simple you will want to do it on a weekly basis.

Grab a few decorative glass bowls and take a look inside your house to decide where you would like to place them. Empty tables, or counter tops will make the potpourri stand out. Fill each bowl you have chosen and fill with different types of potpourri.

  3. Step 3

Fill up clear vases with potpourri, add some water, then add your favorite flowers. This allows the beauty of both the dried as well as the live flowers. Place vases in the center of a dining room or living room table.

  4. Step 4

Fake plants are another great way to show off your beautiful potpourri around the house. Instead of seeing fake moss inside the bottom of your fake plants, fill the top of the fake plant pot with potpourri, it will turn your boring fake house plants into something remarkable.

  5. Step 5

Last but not least to use your potpourri to scent your entire house instead of showing it off, grab a small crock pot, fill it up with your favorite scented potpourri and your ready to go. Be sure to fill the crock pot with water that covers the potpourri and turn it on low. Keep top off to allow the smell to engulf the entire house. Change potpourri once a week or when the smell beings to diminish.
