Historically speaking, the most popular variation of this has always been the rum egg nog. Here's how to make yourself a glass of it.

Tips & Warnings
  • For an even richer taste, try using light cream to make your rum egg nog.
  • If you'd prefer a less vanilla flavor, use normal light rum instead of spiced rum when making your rum egg nog.
  • Fresh ground nutmeg will really liven up the taste of this cocktail.
  • Don't use too much rum when making your rum egg nog. Doing so may cause the dairy products from the drink to curdle.
  • Always drink responsibly and in moderation.
  • Never drink and drive.
