These bets are all located on the very outer area of the table.

  2. Step 2

Understand what pays two to one. The next three bets located just inside the even money bets; nearly split the numbers (and your odds) into thirds. Each bet covers 12 numbers as follows: 1 – 12, 13 – 24 and 25 – 36. You can also further divide the numbers in three by selecting what is know as the “column” bets, which divides the numbers vertically. The payout on each of these bets is 2 to 1.

  3. Step 3

Know the six number bets. This bet is also called a “double street” bet. You can cover six numbers, which include two connecting rows of three numbers by placing your bet in-between the two rows at the end of the row (towards the outside). The payout for this sort of gamble is 5 to 1.

  4. Step 4

Recognize the lone five number bet. There is one place to make a bet in roulette that will cover five numbers. These numbers are 1, 2, 3, 0 and 00 and the bet is place at the end of the row (towards the outside) between the 1 and 0. If any of these numbers win, the payout is 6 to 1. 6. Step 6

Understand the “single street” bet. You are able to cover three numbers in a row by placing a bet on the end of the row desired. When any of the numbers hit, you will receive 11 to 1.

  7. Step 7

Know what a two number combo pays in roulette. You can place a bet, known as a “split”, on any two adjacent numbers on the board. Place your chip in between the two numbers and if either hit, you will win 17 to 1.

  8. Step 8

Be aware of a single number bet payout in roulette. Any time you bet on any lone number, by placing your bet directly on it; you will receive 35 to 1 when the number hits.
