Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Internet connection
  • Email address
  • IM service (optional)
  • Nice photo
  1. Step 1

Set up an account with personal information such as username, password, email and name. After setting up the account, there is a section for describing your dislikes and likes. This is where you can upload a picture that will be display by the username on the profile page. Your name and personal information is not displayed unless you check the box.

  2. Step 2

Next, set up a profile about the type of person you are looking for at the online dating service. This section includes interests, looks and location. This is the section that will help someone find you as a potential person to start a communication.

  3. Step 3

After signing up and entering all the important information, start browsing through the profiles to find someone that interests you. If there is someone that you would like to talk to, you can send an email communication through the online dating service.

  4. Step 4

Keep all communications through the online dating service or an IM service until you find someone that peaks your interest. Sometimes this can happen right away and sometimes it takes a little while.

  5. Step 5

After talking to people, you can decide who to keep communicating with and who to drop from your communications. If you find someone special, you can block all communications until you decide to look again or not.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always give truthful information about yourself.
  • Make sure the picture is you and not someone else.
  • Never give out personal information such as name and telephone number to anyone you do not communicate with for a least a month or longer.
