1
Go light on the rest of your eye makeup. Because the thick, opulent lashes will draw attention to your eyes, steer clear of heavy or bright eye shadows and dark eye pencils. If you use an eye pencil, line only the inside of your lower eyelid. The lashes on top will be sufficient emphasis on your eyes.

2
Trim down the false lashes. In a work setting, you will need to go for thickness rather than excessive eyelash length. Leave the false eyelashes slightly longer than your own if you wish, but carefully take off at least one-third of the length. You can do this before or after applying the lashes to your eyes but preferably before to avoid injuring yourself.

Curl your lashes and the false ones together. This will make them look more natural and also make your eyelashes stand out without heavy makeup.
