Cut two flip flop shapes out of cake. Try and make them as close in size and shape as possible. Use the link on this page to print a template to cut the shapes out of the cake. If needed, slice the tops of the cakes to make them flat. Place them on a tray or piece of cardboard. If desired, place graham cracker crumbs on tray to resemble sand, prior to placing cake on the tray.

Frost both flip flop shapes with white frosting. Tint some of the remaining frosting using your choice of food color, and use this to frost the edges of the flip flop shapes.

Slice several diagonal pieces out of the rainbow-colored fruit rolls and use to decorate the "soles" of the flip flop shapes. Cut four equal length pieces out of the red fruit rolls. They should be thin and have a diagonal slice at each end. Attach two of these together and place on one of the cake shapes to form a strap. Repeat with the remaining pieces for the second flip flop.
