  • Plastic spray bottle
  • 2 Cups of hot water
  • 3 tbsp. White vinegar

  1. Making homemade mildew spray

      Heat water and pour into a plastic spray bottle. This is the base of the spray, so add it first.

      Pour white vinegar into the spray bottle. Use a funnel if you need to--so you don't spill.

      Add borax to the spray bottle mixture. Again, use the funnel so you don't spill, but do make sure it is dry beforehand.

      Screw the sprayer lid on tight, and shake the bottle a few times in order to combine the ingredients well.

      Spray on surfaces to be cleaned. Let this mildew cleaner soak for several minutes, and if desired, scrub the area with a brush and rinse.
