How to have a Karaoke Piano Party

Piano Parties are a hot new trend that is catching on. A karaoke piano party is singing with a microphone to live piano music. Piano Parties are the newest party trend.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Piano
• Microphone
• Lighting
• Guests
• Food

1. If you have a piano but do not want to play, you can have one of your guests play or even hire a piano player to play at your party.

2. Provide an area for people to sing and large enough in case there are several people that want to sing together adjacent to the piano.

3. Add a spotlight that will shine on the singing guests and plenty of area for your guests to sit and watch.

4. Have a microphone and PA system or if you have hired a piano player ask them to bring along their microphone and PA system.

5. Have a list of songs for everyone to pick from and print out the lyrics for the songs from the internet.

6. Serve food and refreshments buffet style so your guests can eat between their singing.

Tips & Warnings

• A variation is to give your guests score cards and have them rate each performance.
• Christmas time is a perfect time to have a piano party as everyone know the words to most Christmas songs.
