Performing a whip on a dirtbike is no simple task. However, it is one of the most popular dirtbike tricks. Once mastered you will be able to use it to impress friends and fans alike.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Dirtbike
  • Jump
  • Protective gear

How to Whip Your Dirtbike

Step1
Approach a jump, preferably 40-50 feet or larger, with decent speed. You should be in 3rd or 4th gear on a 250 f and 125 2 Stroke, 2nd gear on a 250 2 Stroke and 250f.
Step2
Angle the bike in the opposite direction as you wish to whip it as you are approaching.
Step3
Slide to the back of your seat as you lean the bike over, throwing your back end out to the side while in the air.
Step4
Pull the bike upright, and start leaning your body back upright as well.
Step5
Hit the gas and pull the back end of the bike in with your legs.
Step6
Land the bike as straight and soft as possible.

Tips & Warnings

  • Performing any kind of stunt on a dirtbike can be extremely dangerous.
