The Purple Heart Charity (officially the Military Order of the Purple Heart) is made up of military veterans who were wounded in the line of duty. Chartered by Congress over 70 years ago, this non-profit organization assists veterans in applying for, and resolving problems with, their veterans’ benefits. Purple Heart also advocates on behalf of veterans' issues, provides scholarships, and conducts outreach programs to assist disabled veterans. As a non-profit organization the Purple Heart Charity depends on the generosity of Americans to fund its many programs to assist our veterans. Donations are fully tax-deductible.
