How To Get Rid Of Fleas Using Avon's Skin-So-Soft Bath Oil

  1. Step 1

Wear gloves: Before you begin your dog's bath treatment, place protective gloves on both hands to prevent contact with any fleas on the dog. Wet the dog thoroughly with lukewarm water.

  2. Step 2

Apply a handful of Avon's Skin-So-Soft bath Oil onto the dog and rub thoroughly, making sure that every part of the dog is covered with the oil. Get as much of the oil on the dog's skin as possible. Gently rub the oil around the face and ears of the dog. Avoid getting oil into the dog's eyes. Repeat the process as many times as necessary, depending upon the size of the dog. Let the oil saturate the dog for approximately 10 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Rinse the dog thoroughly with lukewarm water, checking to see if there are any remaining flea. If fleas are found, repeat the process in step 2, as many times as needed. Depending upon the infestation, you may need to repeat this treatment a couple times a week.

  4. Step 4

Rinse and then apply veterinary recommended medicated flea shampoo. Shampoo as directed. Rinse the dog thoroughly. Dry dog with soft towel.

  5. Step 5

Apply a small handful of Avon's Skin-So-Soft Bath Oil to your hand and rub gently over the dog after the bath. This will act as a repellent against fleas.
